Fire-Dex's CEO, Brett Jaffe, Shares His Hot Wing Recipe

Having grown up in the Buffalo, NY area, my all-time favorite meal is Hot wings.  Below is a recipe that takes the traditional Buffalo wing and adds a twist.

EXTRA CRISPY CAJUN BLUE BUFFALO WINGS

5 pounds of wings and drum sticks
1 cup hot sauce (I prefer Frank’s ) melted together with 1/4 cup of butter or margerine  add 1 tablespoon of cajun spices to the sauce and 1/2 cup of a chuncky style blue cheese dressing (I recommend:  T. Marzetti chunky blue cheese)

The wings can be cooked a variety of ways such as grilling, baking, or my favorite, the traditional deep-frying.

To deep fry, heat oil to 375 degrees and cook wings for around 10 minutes.  I prefer my wings extra crispy, so I cook them until the skin is browned and  crispy.

Drain excess oil from wings and coat with hot sauce mixture by tossing together in a closed container.

Serve with celery, carrots, blue cheese and an ice-cold beer.  ENJOY!
