He Walked 16.63 Miles In His New Fire-Dex FX-R Gear

In June, we highlighted Captain Josh Conder of the South Macon Fire Protection District. He walked 16.63 miles  in his new Fire-Dex FX-R turnout gear to raise money for Relay for Life.

Earlier this month, we caught up with Josh to get his feedback about his FX-R gear and FDXL 100 boots. He said he put his “blind faith” in Mark Nixon of A.E.C. Fire & Safety for his endorsement of this new, innovative gear.  He was very happy he did.

Josh said the gear performed exceptionally well during his walk.  In Josh’s words, “the gear fit much better.  I had a greater range of motion.” Not to mention, he loved the extra pockets and seams.  Since the walk, he has worn the gear to a car fire.  After both experiences, his review of our FX-R gear: “It’s the real deal.”

Regarding the boots:  Josh simply said, “These boots are the best!  They’re crazy.  I love them!”

We appreciate Josh’s efforts to raise money to fight cancer and his feedback about his Fire-Dex gear.  His department hopes to purchase more sets of the FX-R gear.
