Hall of Flame and National Firefighting Hall of Heroes

Located in Phoenix, Arizona, the Hall of Flame and the National Firefighting Hall of Heroes are full of fire history exhibits. The acre of museum has over 90 fully restored pieces of fire apparatus that date from 1725 to 1969 and many other galleries full of fire helmets, patches and other memorabilia.  Four of the galleries contain parts and pieces from all over the world including England, France, Japan and of course the United States. A fifth gallery contains information on wildland firefighting, the only one of its kind in the U.S.

There is also a sixth gallery that is devoted to firefighters. This Hall of Heroes gallery honors volunteer, full time and wildland firefighters who have died in the line of duty or who have been decorated for their heroism.

The Hall of Flame library contains over 6,000 holdings, including books, journals, magazines, manuals and catalogues. The library also houses over 50,000 graphics and photographs.
