What’s the best thing that happened to you this week, either at work or outside of work?
Flying in a hot air balloon for the first time with my mom, sister and son.

What is your favorite vacation destination?
Exploring just about any new city or country. One of the reasons I like cruises – unpacking once and stopping in multiple places.

What is the one thing you wish you’d known 20 years ago?
How fast those 20 years would go by! Such amazing things have taken place in them!

What are 3 things people don’t know about you and may be surprised to learn?

  2. I love to cook (and thankful my husband is helpful with prep and clean-up)
  3. My husband and I met in middle school but we didn’t start dating until after college

What is your favorite app?
It’s a toss up between Amazon, Target, and Facebook. It can be a love/hate relationship because they are convenient to use and Facebook helps me maintain connections, but they can also contribute to spending money and can take up too much of my time.

What is your favorite movie of all time?
The one movie I find myself watching, no matter what part of the movie is playing is The Shawshank Redemption.

What are you most excited for Fire-Dex in 2017?
Our growth!

What song makes you want to “bust a move” when you hear it on your device or radio?
That’s a tough one as there are so many…on any given day, my “playlist” ranges from various versions of rock to pop to R&B.

What do you love most about your job?
Implementing new ideas and interacting with all associates.

What one device can you not live without?
My smart phone.

If you were stranded on an island and could only have THREE things, what would they be?
My immediate family (husband and 2 kids), tons of sunscreen, and high-quality sushi knives.

What career advice would you give to new college grads or other jobseekers seeking their first career gig?
Start networking early and keep those relationships going throughout your career.
