Medina, Ohio –June 22, 2018 – Surrounded by city officials, community supporters, associates and business partners, Fire-Dex celebrated its 35th anniversary by revealing its completed 29,000 square foot headquarters expansion on Tuesday, June 19, 2018.
Camden Fire Department in Camden, New Jersey recently purchased 180 sets of Fire-Dex FXR Turnouts made with TECGEN71. Their purchase also included 180 H41 Interceptor™ Hoods and DEX-PRO Gloves. Thank you to the Camden Fire Department for their purchase and to our distributor, Jersey Fire & Safety Products for coordinating the deal.

Joey Hayes of Ten-8 Fire Equipment hit the ground running his first day on the job and hasn’t slowed his momentum since! His eagerness to learn more about Fire-Dex and what it takes to sell our PPE has propelled him into an elite group of dealers who have been honored with the “DSR of the Month” title.
Jared Harmon recently joined the Fire-Dex Family as an Operations Management Trainee, and is training to become a leader within our Operations Department. He holds a Bachelor’s of Arts Degree in International Business with a minor in Spanish and a MBA in Management from Baldwin Wallace University. Read on to learn more about Jared!
The classic helmet shape dates back to the early 1900s, when helmets fabricated with leather and metal caught on with firefighters everywhere. The design was purposeful: a high dome to deflect falling objects and a wide brim to protect the firefighter from debris, water and burning embers.
