Now the Operations Battalion Chief for Rio Rancho Fire Rescue, Michael dedicates his down time to MES Fire (Arizona) as a part-time Sales Representative.

Being aware of the potential fire hazards in your home will go a long way to helping keep you and your family safe. In America, a fire occurs at home every 86 seconds. Fire departments are taking steps to prevent their firefighters from exposure to carcinogens. What steps can you take to implement fire safety in your home?

What’s the best thing that happened to you this week, either at work or outside of work?
Going to Toronto this past weekend! Plus I got free tickets to the Ripley's Aquarium while I was there.
What is your favorite vacation destination?
Anywhere with a different culture, but if I had to choose, Croatia. Such a beautiful place!
What was the first concert you ever attended?
Usher and Akon... It was epic to say the least.
What are you most excited for Fire-Dex in 2018?
I've only been here a short time but as we grow, I'm excited to see what we're able to accomplish!
What TV show are you embarrassed to admit that you watch?
Bachelor in Paradise... I'm not proud, but it's so addicting.
What is the one thing you wish you’d known 20 years ago?
Everything always works out in the end.

What are 3 things people don’t know about you and may be surprised to learn?
- Last summer I wore a hotdog suit in the Canton Football Hall of Fame Parade... It was exhilarating.
- I lived in Italy for 5 months.
- When I was little, I had ducks, chickens, and goats as my pets.

What career advice would you give to new college grads or other job seekers searching for their first career opportunity?
Make sure to do research on the companies that you're interested in, and get a feel for the culture before making any decisions.
In recognition of Made in Medina County Day, over 420 people toured 19 manufacturing plants on October 5 in Medina County. Fire-Dex hosted two tours showcasing the recent building expansion and insight into the successful business. Paul Rose, Medina City Council served as the guest elected official.
