WET MITIGATION RINSE CONCENTRATE DIRECTIONS
Use this solution on-scene during preliminary gross decontamination to safely rinse particulates away from the
firefighter's turnout gear, reducing exposure to potentially-harmful carcinogens and mitigating cross-contamination.

Follow these steps:

1. Rinse firefighter, PPE, face piece, and accessories with water to remove gross particulates
2. Pour Wet Mitigation Rinse Concentrate into container
3. Set regulator to the desired flow and concentration
4. Spray everything down with solution
5. Use soft bristle brush to scrub heavily soiled gear
6. Rinse everything off completely with water to remove gross particulates and solution
7. Safely remove gear, if possible, and place in marked decon bag
8. Send PPE in for Advanced Cleaning after returning to the station

APPLICATION TOOLS:
Use a self-contained agent proportioning and rinse application system with a wide spray nozzle. Or dilute 1-2 oz. for 1.5 gallon pump up sprayer/foamer.

1. Pour Wet Mitigation Rinse Ready to Use into a spray bottle or pump-up sprayer
2. Spray directly on personal protective equipment (PPE)
3. Use soft bristle brush to scrub heavily soiled areas, if necessary
4. Hose off completely to remove gross particulates and solution
5. Safely remove gear, if possible, and place in marked decon bag
8. Send PPE in for Advanced Cleaning after returning to the station

APPLICATION TOOLS:
You may use any of the following application tools:
• Hand sprayer
• Small pump up sprayer
• One (1) gallon pump up sprayer or foamer
