Content Marketing Coordinator – Remote – Gear Wash – Job Description
Gear Wash, a subsidiary of Fire-Dex, the fastest growing manufacturer of PPE for first responders, is the largest fully verified Independent Service Provider (ISP) of PPE care and maintenance in the world. We specialize in advanced cleaning, inspection, repair, alteration, and equipment customizations for first responders. We are currently seeking a qualified Content Marketing Coordinator ready to assist with content creation, copywriting, social media and more. This is a remote position based out of your home office. Onboarding training at Fire-Dex Headquarters in Medina, Ohio is required.
Responsibilities include:
- Manage Gear Wash social channels including Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube, by utilizing paid and organic content
- Responsible for generating, editing, and publishing social media content that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action
- Create social ad strategy for Gear Wash channels
- Create content for distribution across multiple channels, including websites and other marketing collateral
- Develop lead generation strategy
- Write copy for website, marketing collateral, social media, and more
- Develop content strategies to effectively reach the desired target audience and marketing goals
- Responsible for continual review of campaign and content performance and results to meet or exceed team targets
- Optimize campaigns through rigorous testing with a focus on improving effectiveness
- Assist with blog writing and email marketing as needed
- Ensure content maintains brand guidelines
- Participate in strategy meetings
- Assist in other projects and duties as needed
Candidates should possess the following:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field required
- Two to four years of professional content creation
- HubSpot experience is preferred
- Expert level on all social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube
- Experience with paid social media and social ad strategy for a business is a must
- Web design and landing page creation experience is a plus
- Previous professional experience managing social media platforms
- Experience with content management systems preferred (WordPress or similar)
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Strong communication skills - ability to communicate with all levels inside and outside of the organization, including verbal, electronic and written
- Blog writing experience is a plus
- Ability to work in teams as well as possess self-accountability
- Efficient with prioritizing and multi-tasking, including being productive while handling re-directions and interruptions based upon business needs
- Possess a high attention to detail
- Ability to remain organized with and keep track of multiple sources of information and data
- Ability to travel an average of 5-10% a year for strategy meetings, trainings, or events
- Possess strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards

Salary Range: $40,000-$55,000
