Database Coordinator

Fire-Dex is family-owned, global manufacturer of head-to-toe personal protective equipment (PPE) for first responders and an Independent Service Provider (ISP) of PPE care and maintenance. We are currently seeking a qualified Database Coordinator to assist in maintaining the data in our CRM systems focusing on data integrity and CRM management. The ideal candidate will be process-oriented and possess a high attention to detail.

This is a remote position based out of your home office. Onboarding training at Fire-Dex Headquarters in Medina, Ohio may be required.

Responsibilities include:

  • Perform data cleansing by identifying duplicate or incomplete information in our CRM systems, including Salesforce & Hubspot
  • Establish data naming standards and consistent data definitions to improve overall quality
  • Accurately input new and updated account & contact information in CRM
  • Review data for completeness and accuracy
  • Contact authors of source documents to address data inconsistencies and to gather missing data
  • Monitor data quality, data migrations, and data integration
  • Compile data from various sources to create custom reports
  • Additional data entry tasks as needed

Candidates should possess the following:

  • High school diploma, general education degree (GED)
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks with a high degree of accuracy
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Possess excellent typing and data entry skills
  • Ability to work from home office
  • Experience working in a CRM (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.)
  • Ability to work in teams as well as possess self-accountability
  • Proficiency to communicate well with all different levels, both inside and outside of the organization, including verbal, electronic, and written
  • Efficient with prioritizing and multi-tasking, including being productive while handling re-directions and interruptions based upon business needs
  • Possess a high attention to detail
  • Must be flexible and accommodating
  • Possess a strong sense of urgency, follow-through, and diligence, including meeting deadlines and can remain organized with and keep track of multiple sources of information and data
  • Possess strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
