Become a Fire-Dex Marketing Technology Specialist

Fire-Dex is family-owned, global manufacturer of head-to-toe personal protective equipment (PPE) for first responders and an Independent Service Provider (ISP) of PPE care and maintenance. We are currently seeking a qualified Marketing Technology Specialist to assist in the planning, execution, and optimization of our online marketing efforts. The Marketing Technology Specialist will focus on Web design and optimization, SEO, data integrity, and CRM management.

This is a remote position based out of your home office. Onboarding training at Fire-Dex Headquarters in Medina, Ohio may be required plus potential visits to HQ and other light travel throughout the year.

Responsibilities include:

  • Maintain all Fire-Dex Content Management Systems (CMS), including but not limited to,,, and
  • Manage eCommerce shopping cart functionality and order processes
  • Oversee ongoing website development, including implementation of new/updated products or functions, designing new product pages or features, and building new landing pages in WordPress and HubSpot
  • Act as primary Admin for HubSpot and Salesforce CRM systems, streamlining processes and maintaining data integrity and contact management, including managing contacts, leads and account information, creating new fields and processes, and creating reports as needed
  • Manage and improve organic search engine performance and goal setting based on click-through rates, traffic, and conversions
  • Owning and maintaining Google Analytics, site metrics, and campaign reporting
  • Maintain brand integrity across all digital mediums
  • Create and design HTML emails for third party advertisements as needed
  • Assist with integration of Workwise ERP with other Fire-Dex programs via API
  • Manage lead process flow between Fire-Dex’s website and CRMs
  • Manage asset management system for distributors
  • Monitor distributor websites and ensure product information is accurate and up to date, links are functioning properly, and Fire-Dex’s brand policy is upheld

Candidates should possess the following:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field
  • 1-3 years of progressive marketing experience
  • Ability to work from home office
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time for training, tradeshows, industry meetings or other events
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS and/or web development tools (e.g. Dreamweaver) required; experience with web design or animation is a strong plus
  • Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM
  • Experience using Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager (certification a plus)
  • Experience working in an admin capacity for a CRM (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.)
  • The following experience is a plus: YouTube, Google Ads, eCommerce Management, and ERP’s
  • Ability to work in teams as well as possess self-accountability
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Proficiency to communicate well with all different levels, both inside and outside of the organization, including verbal, electronic, and written
  • Efficient with prioritizing and multi-tasking, including being productive while handling re-directions and interruptions based upon business needs
  • Possess a high attention to detail
  • Must be flexible and accommodating
  • Possess a strong sense of urgency, follow-through, and diligence, including meeting deadlines and have the ability to remain organized with and keep track of multiple sources of information and data
  • Possess strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
