Because of our growth, we’re seeking an energetic and motivatingProduction Supervisor to supervise and lead our growing team of 1st shift production associates in an operations leadership role to meet production and project schedules. They will plan and assign work, implement policies and operating procedures and be responsible for safety, quality, productivity, morale, and cost to achieve positive results.

Additional Responsibilities Include:

  • Manage departmental performance measures, develops KPI’s (key performance indicators) and provides regular progress reports
  • Provides associate supervision, coaching, development and accountability
  • Develop strategies to improve team performance and reduce downtime
  • Applies policies related to job performance, company values and safety
  • Ensures effective employee relations, creating and influencing a fun, yet highly effective work environment
  • Assist in associate hiring, onboarding and retention
  • Champions lean initiatives and continuous improvement efforts
  • Directs and enhances site ISO 9001 quality standards
  • Supports the operation's team in the development and execution of manufacturing strategies
  • Other duties and projects as needed

Candidates Should Possess the Following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration or related field is preferred
  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent required
  • Previous successful manufacturing or production leadership experience
  • Managerial skills relating to the ability to lead cross-functional teams
  • Open and effective communicator and collaborator with all levels of the organization, including verbally and written, including being a team player and having a professional interface with others, getting results through collaboration
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including coaching, mentoring and employee relations
  • Highly skilled in Microsoft applications, especially Word, Excel and Outlook and ability to learn new software programs and systems
  • Active leadership experience in lean initiatives, six-sigma programs and kaizen activities
  • Familiar with ISO standards
  • Strong sense of urgency, follow-through, and diligence, including meeting deadlines and able to remain organized with and keep track of multiple sources of information and data
  • Ability to follow and lead safety standards and standard work

Main Hours of Work:

Typically, 45+ hours weekly and flexible hours depending on department needs. Must have availability to work occasional evenings and weekends, if needed.
